How does the value check work?
Search your card by name. If it appears in several sets, pick the set printed on your card.
You get the current ungraded market value in euros, based on the average sale price over the last 30 days.
Below that you see what the card is estimated to be worth at grade 8, 9 and 10, with the cost of grading already deducted.
That tells you at a glance whether this card is worth submitting.
Why a graded card is worth more
With an ungraded card a buyer has to take your word for it. With a graded card the condition is objectively fixed, sealed in a slab with a certificate number anyone can verify online. That difference is largest on older cards: a 1999 card still in perfect shape after 25 years is genuinely rare, and the price reflects it. On very recent cards the gap is smaller, because far more perfect copies exist.
